The quantities are for a single layer. Low pallets can be double stacked: up to about 1.15 m per pallet in a standard container and up to about 1.30 m in a High Cube. For loose cartons, the calculator gives an estimate based on the usable volume.

The floor takes 11 euro pallets or 10 block pallets. Pallets up to about 1.15 m high can be double stacked.
How many pallets fit in a 40ft container?
The floor takes 24 euro pallets or 20 block pallets. A 40ft High Cube is 30 cm taller, so double stacking is possible more often.
Do you unload loose cartons too?
Yes. Loose cartons are unloaded by hand, palletised and wrapped, then go straight into storage.
